Field Test Results
To demonstrate the exceptional durability and protective capabilities of our sul-resistant special rubber protective mat, we conducted a series of rigorous field tests:
1. Daily Wear and Tear Simulation: Under simulated daily conditions with a cutting bracket placed 15 cm away, the mat exhibited remarkable resistance to abrasion, highlighting its suitability for long-term use in demanding environments.
2. Molten Metal Impact Test: A direct, forceful injection of molten iron from a distance of 10 cm resulted in minimal damage to the mat's surface. Although a slight carbonization layer formed, the overall material integrity remained intact, demonstrating superior resistance to extreme heat.
3. Molten Metal Pooling Test: A concentrated pool of molten iron was placed directly on the mat. The material effectively contained the molten metal, preventing spread and minimizing heat transfer to the underlying PE pipe. This test underscores the mat's ability to protect against even the most severe molten metal exposure.
4. Direct Flame Exposure: The mat was subjected to a direct flame from an oxygen-acetylene welding torch for 1 minute and 40 seconds. It successfully withstood the intense heat without igniting, melting, or producing harmful fumes. The surrounding area remained cool to the touch, confirming the mat's exceptional fire resistance.
The upper section of the mat was subjected to direct flame exposure for nearly two minutes without experiencing any breakdown. This remarkable heat resistance is comparable to, or even surpasses, that of steel of equivalent thickness. The lower section of the mat endured direct contact with molten iron without melting or becoming unusable. This exceptional performance highlights the mat's outstanding protective capabilities.
